Today, the team of our AURA (Adaptive and Universal Rehabilitation Accessory) project presented the development at one of the largest popular science events in Ukraine — the INSCIENCE conference, and won a grant of 3 thousand euros from Expertise France / EU4Innovation East! 🎉
AURA is an adaptive rehabilitation device created for people with upper limb amputations who are at the stage of pre-prosthetic rehabilitation. The waiting period for a prosthesis can last for months, and it is this «gap of uncertainty» that we strive to fill, returning people independence in everyday life now.
Why is the presentation at INSCIENCE important for us?
🔹 We showed how Ukrainian developments created on the basis of the Sikorsky Challenge Additive Technologies Science Park are able to solve acute social and medical challenges of today.
🔹Thanks to the combination of science, engineering and partnership with leading rehabilitation centers, our project is transforming from functional prototypes to a ready-made solution.
🔹 The conference has become a great platform for networking, communication with experts, investors and like-minded people who believe in the future of the Ukrainian scientific space.
