🇵🇱 ISKPI and Poland Strengthen Cooperation in Accessibility and Veteran Support
🚀 The Sikorsky Challenge Additive Manufacturing Science Park (AMSP) is pleased to welcome delegations and partners interested in developing innovative solutions for prosthetics, rehabilitation, and accessibility.
This time, as part of a visit to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (ISKPI), we welcomed Mr. Alek Vashkelevich, Chairman of the Board of the Polish Fronia Foundation for the Support of Persons with Disabilities, an expert with more than 20 years of experience in accessibility and barrier-free environments.
During his visit, Mr. Vashkelevich learned about the activities of the Sikorsky Challenge Additive Manufacturing Science Park and the KPI Educational and Innovation Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation.
🤝 During the meeting, we discussed opportunities for knowledge exchange and joint work on:
🔹 developing accessible and inclusive environments;
🔹 joint initiatives and pilot projects;
🔹 educational programs, rehabilitation, and adaptation;
🔹 development of adaptive sports;
🔹 supporting veterans and facilitating their reintegration into civilian life.
For AMSP, developing technologies that help people regain mobility, return to active lives, and overcome barriers is one of our key areas of focus. International knowledge exchange therefore creates new opportunities to develop practical solutions in prosthetics, rehabilitation, and accessibility.
